Review the audit log

The audit log lists every recorded change to your business, newest first: what changed, the channel it came through and any reason given. Use it to answer “what changed, and when?” across the whole business. For the history of one record, open that record’s Activity instead.

Open the audit log

Open Configure, expand Advanced, then select Audit log.

Read an entry

Each entry shows:

• The kind of record and what happened, such as “Sales order · Confirmed”.
• A short summary and the names of the fields that changed.
• The reason, when one was given.
• When it happened, who acted (Person, Connected app, Agent or System) and the channel it came through (App, MCP, Scout, Job, Automation or System).
• Open Scout conversation, when the change came from a Scout conversation.

Rows stay compact. Point at an entry to preview its changes, or select it to open Change details on the right. The details show recorded before and after values, the complete summary and reason, and available record, import-source and Scout links. Expand to full page opens the same change on its own page. Closing details returns to the selected row. The page address keeps the selection.

Value not recorded means that historical value was not retained. A field may also say its value is not available in the audit log. Neither means the value was empty; a recorded empty value reads Not set.

The audit log shows whether a person, a connected app, an agent or Biosphere acted, but not which person.

Filter the audit log

Use the filters above the list:

• All objects: one kind of record, such as Contact, Location or Sales order.
• All actions: one kind of change, such as Created, Updated or Approved.
• All channels: App, MCP, Scout, Job, Automation or System.
• From and To: a range of days. Both days are included, in your computer’s time zone.

Select Clear filters to remove them all. The filters are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.

The list loads 50 changes at a time. Select Load more at the bottom for older changes.

What to know

• If From is after To, the page asks you to choose an earlier start.
• The audit log is read-only.
